About the course: 

This qualification would apply to individuals with various job titles including executive officers, program consultants and program coordinators.
Individuals in these roles may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.

Conversely, it may also apply to those with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.

Target Client Groups: 

Online students undertaking Diploma in their home country e.g. Malaysia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam or other.
Students must have a high level of English language skills and sufficient IT skills to be able to study online through a learning management system or individuals who possess at least one of the following:
• Year 11 High School certificate or equivalent OR
• Certificate IV in a relevant qualification OR
• Mature aged student with relevant workplace experience

Graduates at this level will have technical and theoretical knowledge in a specific area or a broad field of work and learning.

Graduates at this level will apply knowledge and skills to demonstrate autonomy, judgement and defined responsibility in known or changing contexts and within broad but established parameters.

Program Delivery: 

The volume of learning/amount of training required to complete the TOC Diploma of Business is approximately 1300 hours. This will be delivered online, over an 18-month period.
Courses commence first Monday of each month.

  • BSBMGT517 Manage operation plan
  • BSBADM503 Plan and manage conferences

In some cases, students may be able to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), if they have previously achieved the learning outcomes for an accredited unit of Nationally Accredited Training.  The availability of RPL will depend on the student’s experience, qualifications and evidence as well as relevant training packaging guidelines.
